When 2018 Science and Technology Week is coming, specific to the quality safety of power banks, FQII cooperates with people.com.cn Fujian Channel to launch a “people-oriented, quality inspection first” scientific popularization report.

    For a long time, there are various specifications of power banks in the market; however, owing to lack of uniform and normal standards, the product quality is uneven. On January 24, 2018, a first national standard on power banks GB/T35590-2017 Information Technology General Specifications on Portable Power Sources for Portable Digital Devices, jointly formulated by FQII and SCUD Group Limited which is an enterprise in Fuzhou of Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone, was officially issued. The standard will be implemented officially on July 1, 2018.

    In combination with the national standard to be implemented, technical experts of FQII introduce quality index requirements of power banks, tips for evaluating the quality simply and safe use to journalists in detail by physical contrast, standard explanation and field experimentation, etc. Scientific popularization contents will be widely publicized in many network platforms such as people.com.cn, microblog and official accounts in a form of animation, which converts professional knowledge explanation into a popular and easy-to-understand form and increases the interestingness and readability of the contents, thereby improving the quality assurance consciousness of consumers.
