On June 25, a first conference of the drafting group on Bluetooth Headset Group Standard hosted by China Electronics Standardization Institute, China Audio Industry Association and China Communications Industry Association was held at Shenzhen Saixi Science and Technology Building. More than 80 representatives from 55 enterprises and public institutions such as Huawei and Xiaomi participated in the conference. FQII was invited to participate in the conference as a third-party detection institution.

    Two group standards such as Bluetooth Headset Measurement Method and Technical Requirements for Bluetooth Headset are mainly discussed in the conference. The purpose is to boost the formulation of Bluetooth Headset Group Standard, assist enterprises in the industry in standardizing production, guarantee rights and interests of consumers and promote industrial development. Since 1980s, FQII has begun to carry out acoustic testing researches and possesses a complete set of B&K acoustic testing devices. The national standard Maximum Sound Pressure Level Measurement Method for Sound System Equipment, Headsets and Personal Music Players mainly drafted by FQII will be approved and issued. At the conference, FQII provides a lot of basic data for the formulation of two important group standards such as Bluetooth Headset Measurement Method and Technical Requirements for Bluetooth Headset according to technical researches on national headset risk monitoring fields and abundant testing experience for many years, which is of great significance to formulate Bluetooth headset standards and normalize sound development of the industries related to Bluetooth headsets.
