Recently, FQII received proficiency testing result reports from China NIL Proficiency Testing Research Co., Ltd., Zibo Customs Integrated Technical Service Center and CABR Testing Center Co., Ltd., respectively, that verification results of proficiency tests “NIL PT-4597 Determination on Metallographic Structure of Gray Cast Iron”, “PT0004-202401 Migration Volume of Lead and Cadmium in Daily Ceramics” and “CABR-2024-PT054 Gloss of Paint Film” participated in by FQII are “satisfactory”.

    Through the analysis on the metallographic structure, properties and application characteristics of materials can be understood in depth; through the detection on dissolution quantity of lead and cadmium in daily ceramics, the products with excessive lead and cadmium can be found in time, to eliminate hidden dangers brought to the reputation of enterprises and the use safety of consumers; the results on determination of gloss of paint film can help understand decorative and protective properties and surface smoothness of the paint film, thereby ensuring that the coating meets design and quality requirements.

    The satisfactory results of the proficiency testing fully demonstrate effective operation of the quality management system in FQII, and affirm the inspection and testing ability and level of FQII in the field of physical properties and chemical analysis of metal materials, which can provide strong technical support for high-quality development of the economic society and supervision and law enforcement of local governments.
