Recently, FQII received a notice on the proficiency testing plan result from Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Technology Center that proficiency testing of “IQTC24C07 Determination of Migratable Elements in Paint Coatings for Toys” participated in by FQII obtained a satisfactory result.

    Paint Coatings for Toys contain migratable elements such as “barium (Ba), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), lead (Pb), arsenic (As), mercury (Hg), antimony (Sb) and selenium (Se)”. As an indispensable part in children’s growth, the toys have become increasingly rich in types with the development of society, and their safety has become a common concern. The migratable elements in the toys can enter the body through children’s skin, mouth, etc., and are accumulated in the body, which will cause harm to children’s body health.

    The result of this proficiency testing fully demonstrates the technical ability of FQII in detection of migratable elements in paint coatings for toys, and provides strong technical support for better supporting quality supervision of the governments, serving the quality improvement of enterprises and escorting the healthy growth of adolescents and children.
