On February 21, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration issued an announcement (No. 5 in 2025) on the decision to designate the implementing institution for compulsory product certification of electric vehicle supply equipment, and FQII was successively selected as a designated laboratory for compulsory product certification of electric vehicle supply equipment, which became the only designated laboratory for compulsory product certification of electric vehicle supply equipment in Fujian. This marks the recognition of FQII’s comprehensive technical service capabilities in the testing field of electric vehicle supply equipment, and FQII will proactively provide stronger technical support for promoting high-quality development of the national new energy industry.

    According to the Announcement on Implementing Compulsory Product Certification Management for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment by the State Administration for Market Regulation, from March 1, 2025, the designated certification authority begins to accept the CCC certification entrustment for electric vehicle supply equipment; from August 1, 2026, the electric vehicle supply equipment that have not obtained the CCC certificate and are not labeled with certification marks are not allowed to leave the factory, be sold, imported or used in other business activities.
