FQII carried out technical assistance activities for food enterprises in southern Fujian

    Recently, in order to publicize and implement national food safety standards and assist enterprises in quality improvement and brand upgrading, DAI Ming, deputy director of the Food Institute of FQII, led eight technical experts to carry out in-depth technical assistance activities for food enterprises in southern Fujian.

    The technical team successively went to Runke Bioengineering, Da Zhou Xin Yan, Joinsha Animal Health Products, Xiamen Green King, Yan Palace Seelong, etc., investigated and surveyed production and processing in the enterprises, and answered questions about label identification, use of food additives, restriction of excessive packaging of goods, microbial testing, etc. raised by the enterprises. In response to the needs of transformation and upgrading of the edible bird’s nest industry, the technical team publicized and explained GB 23350, GB 7718, GB 28050 and other standards for three edible bird’s nest enterprises, which promoted the understanding and grasp of different product standards by the enterprises and boosted diversified, standardized and normalized development of the edible bird’s nest industry. The technical team provided laboratory and field operation guidance on vitamin A/D/E, benzoic acid, DHA, heavy metal detection, etc. raised by Joinsha, Runke, etc., which was highly welcomed by the enterprises.
