Recently, the science and technology project of the former General Administration, "Tripping characteristics of current distortion Prevention based on LabVIEW", which was undertaken by FQII, has successfully passed the acceptance of the expert group, and the research results have reached the advanced level in China.

    According to the requirements of national standard GB/T14048.2, aiming at the problem of DC component in the closing process of multi-magnetic circuit test system, a tripping characteristic test device which can prevent current distortion is developed in this project. By automatically adjusting the closing phase angle of the phase selection switch, the device can eliminate the influence of the distortion of the test current caused by the DC component on the accuracy of the test results, so as to meet the test requirements of the instantaneous and long delay tripping characteristics of the circuit breaker.

    The device developed in this project has complete functions and convenient operation, and improves the measurement accuracy and test efficiency. At present, it has been put into use in the electrical department of FQII, and the effect is remarkable, and it has a good value of popularization and application.
