Recently, a sci-tech project on Key Detection Technology Research on Safety Performance of VR Glasses from original Fujian Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and undertaken by FQII has passed the approval of an expert group smoothly, and the achievements of the project have reached an advanced level in China.

    VR glasses are emerging products, and currently China has not issued a national standard on testing methods of VR glasses, so that many manufacturing enterprises are unable to perform complete certification testing, thereby limiting the development and growth of the industry to some extent. On the basis of studying relevant standards, the project provides key testing items which have an influence on safe use and overall performance of VR glasses, successfully builds a testing platform for VR glasses, and posseses a test capacity on comprehensive parameters such as electrical safety of VR glasses, security of built-in lithium batteries, audio safety and temperature rise requirements of areas in contact with eyes. The breakthrough and application of key testing technology researches on safety performance of VR glasses will play positive guide and promotion roles in standardizing the production of VR glasses and driving the sound development of the industry.
